By paying the stallholders fee, you have read the Terms and Conditions of The Jack & Jill Market and have agreed to them.

  • Stall hire: Stall hire fee includes indoor venues, extensive advertising campaign to attract buyers, your stall: 1.8 x 0.7m table, 1.8m x 0.5m space in front of table for small to medium-sized items, 1.5m x 1m space beside table for 1 x clothes rack (rack not supplied), table cover, chair, and 4 spaces in the Large Items Gallery at any one time. NOTE: some items are considered 2 x spaces. Spaces can be replenished as items sell.
  • Stall presentation: All items are well-displayed, tidy, organised, and not over-cluttered. Only a suitable volume of items are on display at any one time, per the space available. All items are displayed within stall boundaries.
  • Empty stalls: It is not permitted to book a stall only to sell Large Items in the The Large Items Gallery.
  • Arrival time: Arrivals after 10am on market day will not be accepted, as there is insufficient time to set-up for opening time.
    • Market cancellation & refunds: Should a Jack & Jill Market be cancelled, stallholders will receive a 100% refund of stall hire paid.
    • Stallholder cancellation & refunds: If stallholders are not able to attend the market, and inform us by midnight on the Sunday prior to the market date, we offer a 100% refund of stall hire paid.
    • Stallholders can sell: Quality, nearly-new maternity, baby, and children’s items suitable for children up to 9 years of age; new items that were received as gifts or bought but not used.
    • Stallholders cannot sell:
    • Items not specifically made or painted for maternity, babies, and children, e.g. general household furniture, general adult clothing, etc.
    • Items in poor condition: broken, in complete, not fully functional, dirty, mouldy, torned, rutsty, excessively worn and in general poor condition. Items in such condition will be removed from display.
    • No business or craft stalls permitted on market day.
      • Security: Stallholders are responsible for their own stall security and monies. No responsibility is taken by the organisers for theft, loss or damage to items.
        • Safety: Stallholders are responsible for the safety of their table/ stall, i.e. setting items up in a safe & secure manner to avoid accidents, and the stallholder agrees to indemnify The Jack & Jill Market against all claims arising out of negligence on the part of the stallholder and/or their helpers.
        • Decorations: Nothing can be in any way attached to any portion of the building.
        • Other:
        • The Jack & Jill Market accepts no responsibility for any transaction entered into in the market enclosure between a seller and a buyer.
        • The Jack & Jill Market accepts no liability for the loss or damage of any kind suffered by any person who enters the market area and all persons who enter the market area do so at their own risk.
        • The Jack & Jill Market reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
